PDQ Corner Project of the Month
Cheers! - I spent the last 10 days on holiday in England and fell in love with the people and the landscape. If it weren't for the rain that falls 90% of the time, I'd try to convince my family to move there.

Of course, there's also the issue of learning the language. It's not that they don't speak English, it's just that they speak a different kind of English. For instance, if you wanted to tell people you were having a garage sale you would say, "I'm having a car boot sale."

Don't walk around saying "pardon me" too often. In the UK it means you farted.

Don't be surprised when someone asks you what you read at 'university.' They don't want to know everything you read, they just want to know your major.

Thankfully I didn't drop a 'clanger' too often (say something embarrassing).

Cheerio! (Americans only say it if you are in an English pub, because it sounds stupid with an American accent)
