July 2009
PDQ Corner Project of the Month
I have always loved the 4th of July. As a child, I loved the parade and the fireworks. As a parent, I love the fireworks. This year was a bit more memorable.

Our local 4th of July extravaganza is a tradition for our family. When they announced a few months ago that the Jonas Brothers were going to be there, the event turned into a "teenage girls hormonal fest."

Because I have a connection (my brother runs the show), I was able to secure passes to meet the three heart throbs. It turned out to be the perfect night of shaking hands and taking pictures with "the hottest boys on the planet." Two hours of music, dancing, & screaming, topped off with some amazing fireworks.

As we walked back to our car later that night I thought to myself:
Tickets $400
Snacks $50
"The perfect outfits" $100+
Hearing my daughter sigh and say, "My life is complete." Priceless!

Have a great month &
