PDQ Corner Project of the Month

The Good Life - Yesterday I was at my parents' house visiting with some of my siblings. We were talking about our children and my brother was telling us about a conversation his very inquisitive child, Noah, had recently had with his mom. It went something like this.

Noah - "Mom, what do you want to do when you grow up?"
Mom - "I just want to be a mom."
Noah - "No. I mean like a job."
Mom - "Being a mom is a job."
Noah - "No! I mean you have to learn a lot of stuff and it's hard."

We all had a good laugh and then I remembered thinking as a child that my Mom had "The Good Life. " She didn't have to go to work or school. She could do anything she wanted all day. The only reason she had children was so that she didn't have to do the dishes and she didn't have to eat oatmeal.

You know what I found out after becoming a mom? I was right, motherhood is the good life!

Have a great month & remember to make something for your mom!

Next week some of us will be taking our family on a cruise for Spring Break. Shipments will still be going out, but you won't be getting a Friday "New Project" notice. The following week everything will be back to normal, except for the fact that some of us will have a great tan and some of us will be very jealous.
