Happy New Year!

Have you ever wondered why we say, "Happy New Year"? Maybe it’s because for one small moment in time we can actually say, "This is the year I’m going to:

-Lose that last 10 pregnancy pounds, now that the baby is getting married.
-Finish unpacking the last boxes from our move . . . 10 years ago.
-Get rid of my clothes from the 80’s.They will NEVER come back in.
-Change my 80’s hairstyle. Bangs should never be that big!
-Stop saying the word ‘thongs’ instead of flip-flops in front of my daughter’s friends.
-Eat less chocolate and more salad.
-Get in touch with my inner self, better known as therapy.
-Take a vacation more than 50 miles from my home.
-Scrapbook the last 19 years of my children’s lives.

. . . and actually believe we can do it!" After all, "Ignorance is bliss."

Have a Happy New Year,
Never stop creating &
Know you can do anything!

What's New

Chunky is definitely the look of the season. At PDQ Creations we have always made it our goal to keep up with the trends while maintaining our high quality line of beading supplies. Wanting to design trendy projects without making them incredibly heavy, led our design team on a search for high quality Acrylic Beads. We are happy to say the beads we found are fabulous! You’ll find that these beads have a glass-like appearance that gives the look of glass to your designs without the weight.

Check out our Acrylic Beads as well as two great designs created using them.

Beading Tips

Side-Cutter ~ Use for cutting wire or bead cord. Will always leave a "^" shape. Use for general trimming or cutting.
Bent Nose Pliers ~ These pliers can do everything needle nose pliers can do, but they have a bent tip. The bent tip allows you to hold or reach into those more difficult angles.
Round Nose Pliers ~ These are a staple for your toolbox. Use them to close loops, hold small jewelry components, or open and close jump rings. They are a must for wire wrapping and making multi-diameter loops on head and eye pins.
Needle Nose Pliers ~ Excellent pliers for sharp bends in wire. The flat surface will hold any jewelry component without marring. They can also be used for flattening wire or metal and opening or closing jump rings.
