Wow! Summer is here, the kids are out of school, and it’s time to get back to what we all love…beading of course! You’ll love the fabulous projects our PDQ Designers have created for summer. Our Summer Fun Children’s Bracelets and Orange Striped Summer Set are a great way to start the season.
I’m counting on my beading supplies being the perfect answer to my four daughters’ constant question of, “What is there to do?” What better way to inspire creativity and keep them thinking during summer break. If you have any other suggestions on how to keep children entertained let us know and we’ll put it in the July Newsletter.

While you may think of *findings as a "hidden" item, something that no one will see, they are not. Cheap findings almost instantly lower the quality of your beadwork. Use good quality findings when you make beaded jewelry and you'll see the difference immediately.
* Findings are manufactured components used to create jewelry. Generally, findings provide the structure for the jewelry design. Findings include jump rings, clasps, bails, headpins, earring wires, and charms, to name a few.
The beach will be a big influence on accessories this summer. There will be lots of natural, organic materials inspired by the sand and sea. Tans, browns, pinks, creams and greens add softness and a feminine touch to this more casual look. Our Shell Necklace is right on target.
